It feels as if the weather has been gorgeous since Nicola and Tom’s mid-April wedding! They also were lucky enough to have a sunny, warm day for their Tankardstown wedding.

Tom is from the UK and Nicola is from Sutton in Dublin. Both as good looking as each other, my job was an easy one that day.

We started in Howth, in a fabulous house that Nicola’s late stepfather had built, a stunning concrete home with epic views overlooking the bay.

It was magical and emotional that morning and all the bridesmaids and Mum were on hand to help out and ensure that everything ran like clockwork.

After a lovely ceremony at Rathfeigh we headed to Tankardstown House in Slane, Co. Meath where stylish guests sipped champagne for the afternoon.

Thanks to Nicola and Tom and their very cool bridal party for all the laughs, it was so good to hang out with you all for the day!

Clare contacted me in early 2017, a whole year before her planned wedding in Durrow and wow did that year fly in!

Before we all knew it I was heading down the N7, to what I didn’t realise then, one of the most fun weddings of my career.

I was welcomed into the Miss Leyah bridal suite as though I were a guest. Clare’s family and friends were just great to hang out with for the day and were all so relaxed, it made my job a dream.

Enda was luck enough to have his brother as the priest which made the ceremony at Abbyleix church all the more personal.

I highly recommend a quick stop for pints in Morrissey’s in Abbyleix village, it’s a gem of a pub. Proper old-school interior and lovely, interesting nooks and crannies (for kissing!)

We headed to Durrow Castle which is always a favourite venue of mine to shoot at. The staff at Durrow make you feel so welcome, I have been going there for years. It’s great to know a venue inside and out and all the lovely features of the old house. The gardens are magnificent too, so many lovely areas for walks. Clare and Enda just laughed their way through the day! A very memorable wedding for me. Thanks guys, you were awesome!!

Some details of suppliers and overall deadly people who worked with me that day 😉

What a year!

It’s only when I watch this back do I feel a very REAL sense of privilege to be doing what I do.

There is no better feeling than sending off a wedding gallery to a client and knowing that they are going to love watching it all back. That they will keep watching it all back and reliving those amazing memories for years to come.

Thank you to all the great couples I met this year, for allowing me to share their wedding photos.

2018 is about to start with lots more couples that I can’t wait to get to know.

Let’s do this.

It’s that time of year again folks!

Alexandra and Charles were married in May on a really hot day. The setting was stunning. Lough Eske is one of the most picturesque places in Ireland and with weather like everything looked even prettier.

Solis Lough Eske is a beautiful castle, full of history but still feeling very luxurious.

Alexandra and Charles are from Scotland and chose this venue after staying here before. It totally suited the style of wedding they had.

The church was in Killybegs, a short drive away along a scenic road, where we stopped for some lovely couple shots a bit later on.
